Staff Profile

Michelle Penkava is an English Language teacher at St Paul Public Schools.  She earned a Bachelor's degree in teaching English and a Bachelor's degree in creative writing from Winona State University in Winona, MN where she was on. the Dean's List for eight consecutive semesters.  She has experience working with English learners in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.

During her time off from teaching, Michelle enjoys traveling to new places, spending time with family and friends, writing fiction, and learning languages.
