Mr. Boyer

My name is Craig Boyer and I teach Healthy Living and Building Healthy Relationships at Murray Middle School.  This is my fourth year at Murray, and my twentieth year working in education.  My previous Health-Related roles include EMT, Mental Health Practitioner, and NASM-Certified PersonalTrainer. 

Healthy Living includes important topics such as Safety and Injury Prevention, Coping with Stress and Mental Health, Fitness and Nutrition, and Drug and Alcohol Awareness.  Our focus is holistic, and our curriculum is based on the Health Triangle: Physical/Mental-Emotional/Social Health.

Building Healthy Relationships is based on promoting safe and healthy social behaviors.

We also cover specific current issues in Teen Life (e.g. Internet Safety, Vaping, Opioid Addiction).
