Pre-Algebra is full-year course for 7th graders using Holt's Course 3 book from their Middle School Math series.  Students who are successful in this course will be ready to take Challenge Algebra as 8th graders and Geometry in high school.

Algebra 1 is a full-year course for 8th graders using Holt's Algebra book.  This course gives an overview of Algebra 1 but is not meant to cover the material to mastery.  Students will be prepared to take an Intermediate Algebra or Challenge Algebra course in high school.

Please notice the links to the weekly calendars.  These calendars are handed out to the kids every Monday, and they receive one point for showing it to me signed by Tuesday.  This signature should indicate that you have seen the calendar and are aware of the homework schedule for the week, not that the homework is all completed.  The students keep the calendars, so you can ask to see it every night to check that homework is complete.  Please monitor your child's homework and contact me with any concerns.
