Computer Applications introduces students to computers beginning with the very basics like creating folders, safely surfing the Internet, using Microsoft Paint, saving files, adding fonts, and much more. The students will also learn the basics of the Microsoft Office Suite. In this class we will be learning PowerPoint, Word and Excel. We will also learn about website design and basic HTML layout. Once the students become familiar with the basics, we will explore Photoshop, wave editing and basic movie making through stop animation. We will spend time practicing typing skills and even discover computer programming if time allows.
