When a student is assigned to ISS, he or she will be assigned a after-school detention. While in ISS a student needs to be working on school work and may not talk. If these rules can not be followed The learner will be asked to leave and see a building administrator. Detention is from 2:45 to 3:10. If the student does not have homework or a book to read they

will be asked to leave. There is no talking in detention. If a student is asked to leave the detention will not count.
 
About Mr. Carter:

Mr. Carter has been with Saint Paul Public Schools for 14 years.

Although Mr. Carter has spent most of his life in Minnesota, his second home, and the place where some

of his family lives, is  Texas. Away from school Mr. Carter and his family live for ice sports. Ice Hockey, Speed Skating, and Bandy are three of his passions. Other activities that can be found taking his time are sailing, canoeing, fishing, upland hunting, horses, tractors, as well as the study of geography, pertaining to the issues

Mr. Carter also enjoys cooking, whether at the BBQ pit or in front of a stove. Although he used to enjoy contests and cook offs, he hopes more people would find opportunities to cook for those less fortunate.

LOCKER RULES

Each one desiring to use a locker must have his/her own issued by the school/locker manager.

Only one person allowed to a locker.

No exchange of locks or lockers or combinations among students is permitted.

Locks found on lockers other than those issued by school will be removed immediately.

All locks must be turned in before

the last day of school in June. All locks not turned in by that time will be removed and the contents of the locker will be disposed of.

Locks will be confiscated for any violation of these rules.

The Locker manager will not be responsible for anything lost or taken from lockers. Guard your Combination.

Any defective locks or lockers should be reported at once.
