The annual Science Fair and History Fair are "hallmarks" at Murray Junior High School.
The Science Fair projects will be judged in the school auditorium on January 19, 2010. All Magnet I and Magnet II science students participate in the science fair. Students who qualify will go on to the Regional and State Fairs.
The History Day Fair is held on February 23, 2010. This is a juried event. The students who display their projects for this fair are chosen from all entries by the classrooms. Students who qualify will go on to the Regional and State Fairs.
