Welcome to the Principal's Corner. I am Dr. Winston Tucker, the proud principal of Murray Junior High School. This is my 18th year in the Saint Paul Public Schools and my 7th year as principal of Murray Junior High School. Prior to becoming principal of Murray I taught Social Studies and Humanities and served as an Assistant Principal, all in the Saint Paul School District. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), my Masters of Science degree at the University of Minnesota and my Doctoral degree in Educational Policy and Administration at the University of Minnesota.

year old daughter Sophie, a dog named Humphrey and a cat named Tigger. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing, riding a 4 wheeler and time spent in the outdoors. I love to read every night before going to sleep. The book that has me most interested right now is Results Now, by Mike Schmoker. My favorite pastime is spending time with my wife and daughter. I have also purchased a 1950 Chevrolet pickup truck that I intend to restore when I get some recreational time.

This information comes right from the teacher's electronic gradebook and can only be seen by you, the parent.
