Music Department
Murray has both a band and an orchestra program.

Dr. Barbara Lamb teaches Orchestra.

Ms. Vicci Johnson teaches Band and Choir.

2006 - 2007 8th Grade Band Events
In addition to our three in school concerts, the 8th grade Challenge Jazz Band is performing in the "J to Z" Jazz Series sponsored by the Twin Cities Jazz Society on Thursday, April 26th, 2007.  The performance will be recorded and aired on the "Jazz Image" with Leigh Kamman on MPR shortly following the performance.(more)
