 | | Ms. Brumbaugh | Hello! Nyob Zoo! Hola! My name is Karen Brumbaugh. This is my fifteenth year at Murray Junior High and I love working here! I have been a teacher for over 30 years. Prior to Murray, I taught both ESL and Spanish in Maryland, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Texas. During my career, I have taught all levels of students, from junior high through university. I currently teach ESL Reading and Language Development, and I also co-teach Life Science with Erin Dooley. I received my undergraduate degree in Spanish from Marquette University and earned my Master's degree in the Teaching of English as a Second Language from the University of North Texas.
My hobbies include reading, gardening, and cooking. I also enjoy walking my dog, a very lively labrador retriever! But the thing I like to do most is play with my grandchildren, Sam, who is 2 years old, and his baby sister Caroline!
