"Each child is an adventure into a better life- an opportunity to change the old pattern and make it new."  --- Hubert Humphrey

Nyob zoo!  Hello!  Guten Tag!  Ciao!  Buenos Dias!  Bon Jour!

I'm Ann Hebble, one of the English Language Learners teachers here at Murray.  After earning my B.A. in International Relations and German, and my M. Ed. in Second Languages and Cultures at the University of Minnesota, I began the ESL program at Murray sixteen years ago.

I have one husband, two daughters, and two cats at my home in St. Paul.  I enjoy camping, hiking, gardening, canoeing, bicycling, kickboxing, reading, and TEACHING!  (I'm also a devoted fan of Hello Kitty, Hot Cheetos, and chocolate!)

Murray's English Language Learners come from many different countries:  Mexico, Brazil, Laos, Thailand, Mongolia, Burma, Vietnam, China, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Nigeria, Liberia, Pakistan, and Jordan.  I believe that I have the BEST job at Murray because I get the opportunity to meet students and families from all over the world!

Last, the ELL department leads Murray's monthly Hmong Parent Meetings.  Please look for invitations in the mail!
